Well, tonight John went to bed early so I decided to stay up and mess around on the computer and I found myself Google-ing Beadology. Nothing too interesting came up except my cousin Devon's blogspot and so here I am, somewhat inspired to- write something. Looking back now it's almost been a year since I started this crazy journey of being retail store owner, of a bead shop...I've always wanted my own shop, I don't know why...I don't even think I ever really thought too much about it and really didn't give it a second thought when I finally decided to just go for it. I don't know if that's a good thing or not, but here I am. It's really a crazy thing, this whole bead shop thing. It's been SO MUCH FUN! I'm living my dream...I never thought I'd be here. Looking back I remember thinking to myself that this would never happen and I couldn't have imagined where I am today. I'm so grateful for all of the interesting and diverse people that I've met. I'm also so thankful for having such wonderful and supportive parents and family. My Dad is just AMAZING! Who would have guessed that he would retire from the printing industry (after 40 years of distinguished service) and be working with his daughter counting and selling BEADS! It's all pretty amazing.

I felt a little nostalgia after reading your post. I used to have a bead store and my mom retired and worked with me counting beads and filling tubes of tiny beads. She has passed away now and I have since sold the store. But I will always have those memories just as you will. I hope you will great success and many great experiences. I met some lovely people that way too.
I'm glad with your Beadology Bead Company. Your bead stores is quite interesting. Thanks
